It is important to Crumbs to be actively promoting environmental awareness as we believe a clean and sustainable natural environment (along with healthier lifestyles) contribute significantly to a sense of well-being. We are, therefore, committed to setting aside a percentage of our profits for investment into environmental good causes.
For the record Crumbs is not always in accord with Whitney Houston, but children really are the future (and old people are the past... and people in their 20s-50s are the now... not that old people are past it... take my granny for example... and 60 is not old these days.) - where were we? Ah yes.. children.. yes so ,as soon as revenues allow, the company intends to develop a relationship with, and make donations to, education initiatives like ENVISION which encourage school children to engage in improving their environment.
Such initiatives are becoming more widespread in the UK, and recently environmental education has been added to the curriculum nationwide, offering the company the opportunity to support several initiatives both locally and nationally. Crumbs hopes that by working with such organizations, our children may learn to make more informed choices over their diet, lifestyles and purchasing habits that benefit themselves, their communities and the environment. All of our environemtal strategy is done by a fine fellow called Jonathan Sills, a freelance environemental consultant based in New York (how cosmopolitan are we?).
